What is Beet Camp?

Beet Camp is an online 6 week integrative wellness program with a focus on mindful, functional movement and guided breathing.

Who is Beet Camp For?

I designed this program with mamas in mind but you certainly do not have to be a mama to do it!  We live in a world that praises those who sleep less, work more, and sacrifice their wellness for the sake of productivity.  It has left us unwell and disconnected with our bodies.  This program is for any woman who wants to feel good and find freedom in her body.  Perhaps you dedicated decades to a career and put your health on the back burner.  Maybe you have spent the last 1-18 years raising babies and you never really got a chance to re-coop after a difficult vaginal birth or cesarean.  Whatever the case, the time to feel amazing is now. 

Why stress management?

There are many workout and diet programs to choose from but the truth of the matter is, unless we find ways to cope with the physical, emotional, and spiritual stress we encounter in our daily lives, we won't be living our most wholehearted lives.  Beet camp uses gentle movement and plant based nutrition to alleviate physical stressors on the body while also implementing research based stress management practices such as meditation and plant medicine to better cope with emotional and spiritual stressors.

What do I need for the workouts?

Just your body!  All the workouts utilize your own body weight to build strength and mobility.  A yoga mat or towel are helpful too.  These workouts are only 20-30 minutes long and can be done anywhere.  Many of you are mamas of small children and time to care for yourself can be difficult, I get it.  Find a quiet space to hide for a bit or sneak out of bed 30 minutes early.  I promise, you won't regret it.

"Last September I started working out with Melissa at @sweetbeetswellness.
